Local history in a glass. Famous explorer Samuel de Champlain trekked near our winery back in 1615 and traded maple sugar with the local Iroquois Indigenous. To celebrate this peaceful Columbian Exchange, we blended locally produced, old-fashioned maple sugar with Frontenac Noir wine. The result is a sweet wine that tastes like cherries soaked in maple syrup. This wine just won its first international medal at the San Francisco International Wine Competition in January, 2025 against thousands of competing entries! Absolutely delicious, very popular and truly Canadian!
